What results when an error occurs during verification testing of ENERGY STAR Lamps or Luminaires? Follow

When conducting verification testing of Lamps for the ENERGY STAR program, laboratories are prohibited from using test results that were generated during testing in which a testing error occurred. For purposes of ENERGY STAR, a test that is not performed according to relevant testing procedures or laboratory processes is considered a testing error. This error may include but is not limited to staff mistakes, facility equipment malfunction, or extreme lab conditions that may impact the test result. In cases of a testing error, results of testing must be disregarded and the laboratory must conduct another test on replacement units.
