For solid state down lights to be qualified using the Luminaires specification, does the color angular uniformity requirement need to be met using every available trim option? Follow

To demonstrate compliance with the color angular uniformity requirement, it is permissible to conduct the test on the down light only, without the trim in place. With this provision, the test evaluates the uniformity of the source, and removes the influence that trim color may have on the test results. This allowance applies to the color angular uniformity requirement only and does not extend to other photometric requirements.
